The league executives have been in talks with the British government with other sports associations to let the teams play the rest of the 92 games in the Premier League. A majority of the league’s 20 teams have played so far 29 of the 38 games.

La Liga has confirmed that they will be resuming matches in June, with the teams having already started on May 4^th. The Spanish league has stated that they hope to start matches on June 6^th or by June 28^th at the latest, in order to be ready for the European competition in August. The clubs are expected to play the rest of the eleven matches without spectators. ESPN has announced that the league should expect to play with closed stadiums until January 2021.
