Singapore-based blockchain firm, Odyssey has completed its groundbreaking mobile payments system known as Odyssey wallet.

The Odyssey wallet is now the primary payment processor for the oBike ecosystem.

The Odyssey team has declared that its OCN token will be the first genuinely decentralised digital currency to get fully integrated into a decentralised sharing economy.

The oBike platform has over 10 million users. This invariably means that the OCN token will be used as a payment token for all the oBike users.

The Odyssey Project Lead, Sophie Guan, stated that:

“We are happy to announce the completion of Odyssey wallet integration into oBike’s systems. Odyssey looks to simplify payment solutions, build a revolutionary sharing economy system and we are excited to deliver this starting from this program.

It is the 1st step towards the project mission to build a universal credit/trust-based protocol and blockchain technical solutions to enhance the marketplace efficiency, which will bring the sharing economy market to the next level.”

Based on the agreement, OCN token will now act like the native cryptocurrency of the oBike platform. The token comes with an inbuilt social credit and reward system, which will be highly beneficial to oBike.

All 10 million users of the oBike platform across 17 countries will use OCN for payments.

The Co-founder and CMO of oBike, Edward Chen, said that:
