QRDO Foundation Partners EQ LAB to Launch Warden Protocol

Renowned blockchain protocol accelerator QRDO Foundation and leading blockchain developer lab have partnered to facilitate the Warden protocol launch,  an intent-based interoperability protocol based on the Fusionchain primitive built on Cosmos.

According to an official announcement today, Warden protocol features a design that allows users to create Spaces and Wallets on diverse blockchains while governing their activities through on-chain intents. Hence, it serves as a modular intent-centric blockchain leveraging Cosmos-SDK.

Moreover, the protocol supports complex multi-leg transactions and safeguards cross-chain activities via intricate intents, all enforced on-chain.

To attend to the needs of developers, Warden opens doors to deploying smart contracts on Cosmos using Solidity and WebAssembly. Additionally, it facilitates a marketplace of modular key management solutions, from HSM solutions to multi-party computation providers.

Per the announcement, the collaboration with EQ LAB aims to build a decentralized and open, intent-centric interoperability and key management protocol, thereby revolutionizing blockchain interoperability.

A representative for the QRDO Foundation expressed enthusiasm for the new development, saying, “The Warden Protocol is the next evolution in intent and interoperability primitives.”

Furthermore, Key applications have pledged support for Warden, including EQ.finance, a liquid staking hub; WARDD, a USD-pegged stablecoin; Marginly, a protocol for decentralized funding pools; and SpaceWard, a SAFE-like platform for wallet management and governance.

EQ LAB will contribute a core team of 15 developers to the Warden Protocol, aiming to establish it as Core Contributors. Alex Melikhov, founder of EQ LAB, expressed excitement, stating, “We see a bright future in the Cosmos ecosystem and anticipate unlocking incredible value for QRDO and Q token holders.

Warden Protocol to Unveil WARD Token as Anticipations Increases

The Warden Protocol plans to introduce the WARD token through a fair launch mechanism, avoiding pre-mine or investor allocations. Existing QRDO holders, TIA and ATOM stakes, and contributors from other protocols will be eligible for airdrops and incentivized WARD swap. Details of the Alfama testnet and an incentivized testnet will be revealed shortly.

Nonetheless, as the Alfama testnet prepares for launch, the blockchain community eagerly anticipates the impact of Warden Protocol on the broader ecosystem.
